Had we absolutely required connecting rooms (this wasn’t imperative and we were OK with the idea of being separated) we would not have taken the chance and booked a room at a resort that could accommodate us all. This was probably because we traveled during low season and the hotel was not at full capacity.

We’ve traveled with extended family in previous years and were lucky enough to get connecting standard rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. Large families or travel groups can request connecting or adjoining rooms however Disney will not guarantee these requests.
