The whole song conveys a feeling of confusion and eventfulness. The random dubstep at the end is actually kind of funny. Those synthesizer passages are easily the best parts. Exaggeratedly tense, goofy, and pretty catchy, and also s y n t h e s i z e r s. I find this one to be a bit overrated (I think other battle themes are far more worthy to be put into Smash Ultimate than this), but there aren't really any flaws with it. But there's just not too much noteworty about it. The use of the xylophone made this one a lot more memorable than it would have been without it. I like the New Lumos instruments sprinkled throughout it, though.Ī solid battle theme. For some reason, it also feels kind of out-of-place in Miitopia, almost like it belongs in another game entirely. However, it's the most slow-paced out of all of the battle themes, which is great for what it's building up to in-game, but not what I come back to the Miitopia OST to listen to. (The only difference between these is their intros, so I grouped them together.) A lot of people like these themes, and I can see why.
I'm excluding the dynamic variants of the songs, such as "Your turn," to keep this list short and varied. More would be nice, but I’ll take what I can get.There are 19 unique battle songs, including the boss themes. I reccomend you listen to some of it yourself, as it’s all pretty good.ĮDIT: At least the boss theme appears to be in. Unfortunately, nothing managed to slip in to my knowledge. Even just a couple tracks sorted into “other” would have been good. Considering the mii fighters and the presence of Find Mii as a stage, including this game’s music in Ultimate would have been a no-brainer. Some of the boss themes are outstanding, especially the final boss theme, and there’s hardly a track I don’t like. There’s one unexpected thing, though this game has awesome music.
The gameplay is pretty good and unique too. It’s a fun time what with all the little scenarios you can make, and it’s fun to have a party filled with you and your friends. Miitopia is a mii RPG where miis from your system and from the internet fill in every role in the game.
